Very, very true. I was only 12 when I got my first Zep record. I was not into
boys at all at that age. My friends older sister played Stairway for us
because she thought our little girl music was stupid. (OK...she was right.) Her
older sister absolutely loved Zeppelin and had pictures of Robert Plant all
over her wall. I thought he was kinda creepy looking and really scary. Big
hair..big everything. Totally traumatized by Percy. No wonder I like Jimmy.
But I loved that song. My mommy ("No way ever will I buy you a Led Zeppelin
record!"...I knew I had to have it then) wouldn't buy the record so I had to
save my money and buy it myself. Finally got it and I loved the whole thing.
Been listening to them ever since. I knew what the boys looked like, but it
was a couple of years later that I realized what the boys really looked like.
But it was the music that first hooked me. I still listen to it every day. It
is just so incredible. I like it the same way that the guys on this like
Zeppelin. I would be willing to bet that most girls would say exactly the same
thing. Jimmy Page could look like the most heinous toad in the world and I
would still be on this list and I would still be listening to those songs!! It
is just good to be a girl sometimes.

I downloaded a Zep clip once...computer went wacky for a while. Well, not
wacky. It just stopped fuctioning. I know its just a coincidence but I can't
help wondering if it was just plain heat perhaps?
