See, you're totally wrong there. It may not be totally mainstream (yet),
but during this time period we have as many good bands as there ever were
during a certain time -- moe., Phish, medeski martin & wood, plug spark
sanjay (bad band name and I *know* none of you have heard of them... but
hey, their song somehow got featured in an NBA game!)... well, perhaps not
as many, but the talent of these bands is staggering. So they didn't hit it
big after their first year...
