Me too!

Hi all: Debbie and Cindy, I second what several other folks have said:
THANK YOU for the EC review!! Wow...it sounds like a terminal Zephead's
wildest, wettest dreams come true for sure. Kind of reminds me of the
very first time I watched TSRTS too: by the end of it, I was literally
on the floor moaning "Zeppelin RULES!" over and over while it was
rewinding. Surprised my folks didn't find me and call 911 :) And by the
boys' account, and some other people's, THOSE shows at MSG in '73 were
"off" nights for them...and Earls' Court, on the other hand, considered
some of their best. I can only imagine....!

Now I have to second what Paul A and several others have said...I WANT
ONE!! But problem is, I doubt that I have anything worthy of trading for
EC....of the few boots I have, most are on vinyl, a few are CD or
cassette, I have NO CD-burning equipment or expertise, and they're
mostly only so-so quality anyhow. (So why did I get them in the first
place then? Same reason for having EC, and same reason Nech's wife looks
at him strangely when he's digging a low-quality live show....IT'S LIVE
ZEP, RIGHT??:) So, I'd be very willing to buy a copy too if that's an
option...or if anyone's kind enough to tree, I will get them a bunch of
the best-quality VHS tapes I can lay my hands on for B &P!

I, too, promise not to criticize the tape quality...people who aren't
happy with it are of course entitled to their opinions, but to me,
something like that is trivial compared with the sheer joy of seeing the
boys at EC.

Speaking of the version of Bonzo's B-Day Party with the old prune
commercial right before The Ocean...I've heard that!! In fact, I think I
may still have my copy someplace. I remember hearing that and going,
"What the....?!" But from what I remember (it's been 12 years, and maybe
more, since I first laid ears on it :) it kicked a** anyway -- leaving
overall quality out of it! (Maybe if it had been Frank Zappa's "Duke of
Prunes" instead...nah, too weird!)

Zepgirly and TangerineMan, glad you enjoyed my Rain Song story, and
thanks for saying so!

Welcome back, Ed! And what the hell ever did happen to Connie, Dardo,
and Larry B anyway???

Ramble on,
Jenzi
