Hi Bob(bobsled65@xxxxxxxx),
We have to remember that there are those of us who think one way most of
the time,
we're really analytical. We validate and confirm our perceptions by
documenting them. Rather than stray over into uncontrollable emotional
territory we keep a stiff upper lip.
Then there are those who don't concern themselves with the technical
elements or aspects at all. Whilst some of us head for the analytical
element arena, others like Cindy and Debbie were overwhelmed by their
emotional experience immersed in watching Earls Court.
However, I will have to admit, as much as I wanted to stayed detached and
technical, I sucuumb too, when the egregor of Led Zep is in full force it
will always make my knees go weak, give me butterflies, activate erogenous
zones and make me wonder where Masters and Johnson lost out. They just
didn't figure on Led Zeppelin as an electronic age sexual talisman for an
entire civilization.
I don't think the comments from the girls were directed at you personally.
The comments were directed at the girls validating and prefering the
emotional reactive mode to the analytical detached mode.
It was a - when you give James Patrick Page, Robert Anthony Plant, John
Paul Jones and John Bonham a stage, an audience, some time, electricity,
the appropriate rock harware and a whole lotta love - sorta thing.
Yeah, "Doctor" Page majored in biology after all.
For the sake of your blood pressure and to keep your blood from boiling and
burning in anger, I'd just take this instance lightly and please remember
that the girls just wanna have fun. I'm sure a majority appreciate your
comments on the rundown of the show so that we have a detailed reference to
distinguish it from other versions that will undoubtedly start surfacing.
Note: I said "other versions" "HINT!"
In the meantime on the technical end of the making sure the hardware and
the electricity were ready and steady at Earls Court category, I nominate
we give the laurels for the credit where credit behind the scenes is REALLY
due on this one.
Oh Rusty...
