That's Beck as in Jeff, not the ascot-wearing critic's darling who thinks 
he's Al Green or Isaac Hayes or Prince this year.  Jeff hasn't done much 
since the end of his tour in Oct. but I pulled this from the only JBeck 
site that's worth a damn.  Read on-->

<<<Over the past several days we've received reports that Jeff has been 
offered the gig of opening up for this summer's Jimmy Page/Black Crowes 
tour. The tour itself is interesting in that it is being 'piggybacked' with 
this summer's Who tour. If you go to www.pollstar.com and pull up the JP/BC 
and Who tour schedules you will see that they are playing the exact same 
venues a day apart. We've heard the reason for this is that they are both 
sharing the same sound system to cut down on costs. Anyway, we have now 
confirmed that Jeff has been offered the dates but 'hasn't done anything 
about it yet.' Could this just be more wishful thinking on our parts this 
time? We'll see.>>>

Wishful thinking?  Probably.  Jeff & Jimmy sharing the stage these days is 
about as rare as an Englishman buying a round of drinks on payday.

BTW, Those of us Yanks who dished out the cash for Page/Crowes tix know 
that the savings from sharing the sound system with The Who aren't being 
passed down to us!  pffft!
