I wouldn't worry about this.  The thing about technology is that it's more 
or less Pandora's box.  Once it's been opened, no one wants to let it go.  
For every company that wants to make an SDMI compliant CD-ROM, there will 
probably be at least two that don't.  And such is their right.  The money is 
what consumers want, and if consumers wants to copy music from their CD-ROM 
(law providing) that's where the market is.  And consumers clearly want to 
be able to copy music.  You probably have nothing to worry about.
