Psychotronic Magazine is a zine dedicated to trash movies and culture. It's
a great read and all the articles are very well researched.
In the latest issue (issue 30) they celebrate their 10th year of publishing
with some really cool articles and photos. There's a piece on the "Papa Oom
Mow Mow" phenomena with the original Rivingtons, and a great article on Sam
the Sham and the Pharaohs.
What does this have to do with Jimmy Page? Right in the middle of the Sam
the Sham story, is an old pix (circa 67?) of Sam with Jimmy Page. But no
where in the article does it mention Jimmy Page.
So all you Page historians out there...
Has Jimmy Page ever done any recordings with Sam the Sham or is this just a
snapshot Sam had and probably lent to the zine for the article?
Also in the zine, is a recent photo of Chris Dreja and Jim McCarthy of the
Yardbirds looking at a copy of Psychotronic. And for all you Alice Cooper
fans, on the same page is a pix of two original members of the Alice Cooper
band, Neal Smith and Michael Bruce. I point this out because Neal Smith is
now an realtor in Fairfield, CT. You can put his name in a browser and it'll
take you to his "rock and roll realtor" webpage. It answers the question,
"What ever happen to..."

PS
And speaking of "Papa Oom Mow Mow"...
can YOU "gurn"?
I bet Jimmy can gurn if he took his teeth out...
BWA-HA HAHAHAHAHA!
;-D
