Re: The Loudest Rock Band In The World.

Did you say worship? Alright then- on your knees!
Just kidding.
Coverdale just didn't seem to have any real vocal style- it was all
screaming when
he was with Jimmy in Japan. The album was better, but I'll take Plant
on a bad day,
anyday over David.
Have you seen the aforementioned Osaka 12-20-93 video? He's just
too much. I don't think Jimmy was at all amused by his vulgar
language, and he even insults his
stagehands at one point, when he's trying to get his(really stupid
looking) jacket off.
"C'mon, give us a(bleep)hand(bleep). You just can't get good help these
days.(bleep)
(bleep)(bleep)etc."- you get the idea. Then he starts asking the
Japaneese audience how their(bleep)'s are. I don't know how to speak
Japaneese, but I'm sure he wasn't inquiring about their health.
Robert's done his share of telling the audience to shut up, sit
still, and the like, but I've never heard him use profanity just for
shock value. That's a sign of an unprofessional jerk trying to be
cool- and it just didn't work-he's not!
I'm not a prude, by any means. I've been known to let loose with a
few vulgar words from time to time, but never during a gig. I just
think that there are better things you can say when hooked up to a
30,000 watt P.A. system than(bleep)(bleep)(bleep).Very low class.
Can't wait for the U.S. tour. I hope I have cash for tickets.
Plant and Page '98- two+ hours of good CLEAN fun!!!
Timmy Toonz.
