I put it on a public mailing list. If Robert reads it, he reads it. Or, if
you can introduce us in person, PLEASE DO! I would love to meet Robert and
have a reason for a real conversation, not just "May I please have your
autograph?"

You have to hear the music, and Robert's tone in singing it. And
besides--how can any song whose first two words are "Oh, yeah," be intended
to be taken seriously?? Especially when the second stanza starts with "Hey,
hey"? This isn't straight-out funny like "Hot Dog"--it's whimsical and
self-deprecating.

I really doubt that he planned it in those terms. Probably it just came out
that way. It's Jimmy's fault, too--listen to the melody. No way is it
suited to a traditional love song.

I haven't digested the whole thing yet--most of the songs are still kind of
running together. Although "Most High" sounds better on my stereo than via
computer speakers, I still don't like it very much. In fact, more of the
eastern influence is apparent, and it sounds...last year. And out of place
with the rest of the songs.
Oh, yeah--hey, hey--it's just one person's opinion! Jean
