1a) I got into Zep purely because of the studio albums. I thought they
were
gods, the best, nobody could hold a candle to them. About 10-12 years
later
(around 1989) I discovered Zep boots on CD and it was like getting new
Zep albums. It was/is great.
1b) I guess if I had to pick keeping the 10 studio discs (PG counting
as two) OR keeping the 10 best bootlegs I would have to choose the
studio stuff. Even though the live boots are amazing, I love listening
to them. But IMO the studio albums are the Zep mainstay and is what
continues to draw new fans every day.
C) Ever since the first rumblings of the P/P album coming out earlier
this
year it seems like FBO has grown by leaps and bounds. How many people
are
subscribing now anyway?
4) Okay, I've heard a few good things about Big Wreck now. Should I
buy this
disc?
D) What's up with people quoting an entire (often very large) post and
then
contributing one or two words of their own?
X) The big question used to be who would be the next Zeppelin. To me I
think
the next Zeppelin came and went (well they are still around).
Metallica. They
don't/didn't sound like Zep but then that was the point. Zep didn't
sound like
The Beatles. Metallica came along with a new sound. Their concerts
were/are
usually sell outs. Does anybody else see it this way?
Y) I can copy CD's on to CDr fine. But when it comes to putting
together
compilation CDr's there is this two second thing that can sometimes chop
off the
last second or two of a track which is annoying. I have a Hewlett
Packard CD-writer
Plus (7200). When I go into properties both TRACK AT ONCE & DISC AT
ONCE have
Yes next to them. I think this 2 second thing could be solved by
changing TRACK
AT ONCE to No. But I can't find a file or folder or whatever where I
could go
change it from Yes to No. If anybody can help please email me and let
me know.
Z) I still have a few of the ROBERT PLANT - LOOKIN' BACK discs if
anybodys
interested.
