RIGHT-ON Kevin !! I wonder where the old Stone Henge set went?? Maybe
they can do something like that again :o) Talk about setting an
incredible atmosphere!! The Oakland Collisseum shows were INCREDIBLE!!
This brings to mind the TUBES in concert recently, When I asked Fee
Waybill why they dont do theyre pattented Wild and Crazy antics on stage
anymore his reply was something like.. "Were just trying to make the
music speak louder that the Stage show. People always remember the SHOW
so much were not really sure they were appreciating the Music".
There was so much Mystique in the Zeppelin image (73-77), And I really
loved that aspect of it, Even Joneseys Funny Suits and haircuts :o)
But when Bonzo removed the Symbol from his bass drum and Pagey Closeted
the Dragon suits and they took on a NEW appearance (79-80) Such as in
Nebworth, I think something other than clothing was lost. I wonder if it
was sort of the same thing with The Tubes?? The MTV set was cool, But
the P/P shows I was fortunate enough to catch had not much of a SCENERY
like stage set-up. Of course its sort of hard to set up much else when
your touring with a full orchestra. This tour should be (now freed of
the extra performers) something to experience that is as unique in
Scenerey as it is in Musical quality. At leat this is MY hope :o) Jimmy.
