My buddy Coleslaw Jackmeov just called with shocking news from the Monday
March 2, Page Plant show at the Winter Sports Palace in Sofia, Bulgaria...
Page/Plant have drastically changed their set list. The show now starts off
with the new CD played in its entirety, followed by a fifteen minute
intermission and then another complete set, this time with all Led Zeppelin
material.
Additionally, second drummer Kimberly Lemmonds "Rapunzel" Henry is now
officially on board.
The first set closes with a rousing "Sons of Freedom" that segues into the
wildest drum solo ever witnessed. As a tribute to Bonzo, Kim and Michael
Lee pull off Jimmy Page's studio combination of Moby Dick and Bonzo's
Montreaux, complete with Kim on steel drums. The piece concludes with Kim
bashing a flaming Catherine Wheel gong.
Fashion report: Fans of the British tv show "The Avengers" will no doubt be
impressed with Kim's Emma Peel black leather cat suit. We're told she lost
fifteen pounds during the course of the gig and had to be revived backstage
and placed on intravenous feeding.
Those are all the details we have at this time. Coleslaw said he'll check
back in when he finishes his bowl of borscht.
To be continued...
Love,
Billy
