With all due respect to Mr. Appice....How DARE him say Bonzo stole his
style!!!!!! I can't believe that during  New yardbirds days and while
recording LZ1 that Bonham had even him met him yet--- and THAT style of
playing was "nicked" from Appice???? J. Hendrix would NEVER have referred to
Appice as "rabbit foot"--- I cannot think a single Vanilla Fudge tune (not
that I've heard them all) that even APPROACHES the velocity of Communication
Breakdown, NOR the ferocity--
If Carmine really made this ignorant statement, I'm sure it must have been
after Bonzo died--otherwise, I'm sure Bonzo would have found him, and thumped
him!!! Maybe if Jason hears that, he might be compelled to do the same!!
Anything Bonzo developed after the early years, my guess is that it was to
suit the stuff that Page and Jones were coming up with.. and I just cannot
imagine Appice being able to handle the outro of Carouselambra, not to mention
others...
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!! Now i am all p***ed off!!!!! If I had known Appice
was or had ever made this statement, I'd have spilled my Pepsi on him when I
had the chance about 15 years ago---
