My dad, being a bit older, was into the Beatles, and used to buy me Beatles
records when we went out. I had to discover Zep on my own, and it too is a
cool story; although not as long, but I'll relate it at another time.

I've never heard Immigrant Song described that way before. Interesting idea...

I remember when this song was first played on the radio. I thought they had
finally gone off the deep end, until I realized they were busting on country
music... Then I heard In The Evening, and I knew they were still there...

I bought this album the day it first went on sale. It was one of the sadder
days of my life as a Zep fan, as i knew it would be the last album of "new"
songs that I would hear...

This too, is my favorite album. You can hear the pent-up energy all over it...

Did you ever get even with them?

Good choice. My first boot was the audience recording of 7-17-73 Seattle,
bought in a record store on the boardwalk in Wildwood, NJ for $3.50. They had
Blueberry Hill there, too, and a bunch more, all brand new and sealed. Not a
one of them was more than $5.00!!! Boy, do I miss those days... I'll relate
my little story as to how I became a Zep fan later. These stories are one of
the reasons I like this list so much. Zep content at it's finest. Anyone else
have a story about how they became Zepheads? I'd love to hear them...
