Well, You hit the nail on the head there buddy. The Lemon song IS to me
the difinitive JPJ song. As a matter of fact, as we have auditioned
many, many bassists over the years the criteria has always been (when
approached for an audition by a bassist) "Go learn The Lemon Song, and
call us when your ready to try it". Needless to say we weeded out alot
of potential Bassists that way. Well what the hell? If they were really
interested enough to tackle "That" Song then I'm always up for a Jam. I
must say that the Bassist We have right now (past 2 years) Phil Bowman
blew my mind on this one. Note for note, Nuances, etc. etc. etc.

Other JPJ favorites of mine are "The Song remains The Same" (Live)
Joneseys Free form Fluidity and Ad-Lib is Complex, and Devastating!!
And Of course "Ramble On" Is just Brilliant Bass part writing :o)

I wont even Get into the Keyboard stuff.. Its ALL Great !!
