Actually the guitar solo is lifted from "Think About It". Although
"Glimpses" does contain bowed passages, I believe that the bowed
sections in Dazed and Confused probably evolved onstage during his
Yardbirds days.

An additional influence would be Albert King's "The Hunter". I have to
disagree about the connection to "Shapes of Things". Jeff Beck cut the
original solo; and I've never heard any similiarities to HMMT with the
Page versions of "Shapes of Things".
