A funny thing happened to Artie!

One of the more interesting stories of my trip to NY over the weekend
was hearing about a phone call my friend Artie (the NY taper from the
70's) recieved.

Artie is your typical Brooklyner who is not one for mincing words and if
someone is BSing him, he gets right to the point.

Last week he gets a call from a man with a British accent asking to
speak with Artie. The caller claimed to be "Robert Plant" and Artie's
reaction in his Brooklyn acent was "Yeah Right!!!". The caller then
handed the phone over to the flight attend on board the plane as she was
a friend of Artie's. The flight attendent then confirmed with Artie that
he was indeed talking to Robert Plant.

Artie was then told he had a free pair of tickets for the East
Rutherford show and had backstage passes for the show. After the show he
got his autograph and met him.
