DJ's...

   Duncan's story about the DJ meeting Jimmy the other day reminded me of
an encounter I had with a DJ recently...

   Not long ago Triple M (rock radio station) had a "Bootleg Weekend"
(turned out to be pretty piss poor) where Zepp were going to feature,
that's what I thought anyway since the DJ for it was supposed to be a huge
Zepp fan (hosting their get the led out segment every day).  Anyway, it
was nearing sunday evening and no real mention of Zepp so I rang the
station and spoke to the DJ - ha!

   Essentially what happened was that I asked why there was no Zepp, to
which she replied something to do with legalities and another station
dobbing them in to the authorities.  Then I asked her what Zepp they were
planning to play, now this is the funny part, she told me they had
this awesome recording of Zepp at the Isle of Wight (1970) and another
festival appearance in 1974... hmmm, and it makes me wonder.

   Anyone else have a similar run in with a DJ?  Let's hear about it...
