last time they showed TSRTS at a theater here, they had cops frisk
everyone as they entered the cinema.  then, they started showing the
movie BACKWARDS!!!  needless to say, there were MANY unhappy (to put it
mildly) people---it, too was a sell-out crowd.  things went rapidly
downhill after that----shouting, throwing things, attempting to kill the
projectionist, etc.   then an entire squad of policemen showed up (the
Barney Fife variety) and that's when the riot began.  someone was thrown
through the plate glass window at the front of the theater as we headed
for our car.  cops and motorcycle dudes were bashing each other with
whatever was handy, and it was true mayhem.    they never showed another
movie there again.  now it's a Noble Roman's.
