The 1971 BBC show was originally scheduled for March 25 but it was
postponed due to Robert's sore throat.  It took place the following week
on April 1 and was first broadcast on April 4.

For some reason, the change of date seemed to be almost totally
forgotten for very many years and the show was always listed as March
25.  Dave Lewis' article on the BBC performances in the October 1993
Record Collector revealed the true facts, but it has taken a long time
for fans and collectors to get the March 25 date out of their heads.

At last it seems (to me anyway) that the correct date of April 1 is
becoming more widely known and accepted, and references to the incorrect
March date are becoming increasingly rare.
