Zeppelin content?

Let's examine the reasons behind the content posted to our fair list.
The content of this list has always been kind of "What have you done for me
recently?" Jimmy and Robert are topical (having been in Zeppelin) and so
anything they do is going to be brought up on this list. A few months
after P/P finish this tour we will see less content about it, just like in
late 96-97 after the NQ tour.
Any new Zeppelin releases, like the WLL single and the BBC Sessions, will
be hot topics for a few months and then will die because everybody who's
interested will have bought them and posted their thoughts.
The majority of Zeppelin bootlegs are NOT new, and that fact is seen here
on FBO. Even when a new release of an old boot comes out, like Power and
Glory, fewer members of FBO run out and get it, meaning less discussion of
the new release. When a previously-unheard-of tape surfaces, there stiill
won't be as many people on the list that 1) care, 2) get it immediately, 3)
post their thoughts on it, and 4) start an actual debate over it.
This is a Led Zeppelin mailing list, which encompasses tape trading, the
individual members, their solo, and duo, projects, other artists on those
projects (Phil Johnstone, David Coverdale, Rainer Ptacek, Michael Lee,
etc), and anything else that can be construed as, even remotely, related to
Led Zeppelin.
