"Zepplin" fans versus "Zeppelin" fans

Hello All,
In my years as a Led Zeppelin fan, I have been able to separate fans into
two categories, a very simple system.
I have met hundreds of people on AOL who Instant me saying, "Hey
man, Zepplin rules!" This is the first category of the Zeppelin fan, the one
who does not know how to spell the band's name right.
The second category is the category that I think (hope!) most of us fit
into.. Those who spell it "Zeppelin". Anyone who consistantly spells it
Zepplin, or even worse, I saw "Zeplan" a few weeks ago, obviously does not
know what they are talking about. Simply looking at the album cover would
take care of it. I once actually got into an argument with a "Zepplin" fan
over the spelling. He claimed there was only one "e". I told him to get one
of his Zep albums out and look at the spelling, which he claimed he did (this
was over the computer so I couldn't see if he really did it) and he *still*
said it was "Zepplin". Obviously, he did not have the album out in front of
him.
I'm one of those fans who looks down on people who claim to be big fans,
but don't know anything about Zeppelin, to the point of spelling the band's
name wrong. Anyone have any comments on this? Am I too harsh and a horrible
person, or is this annoying to everyone else here too?
