First Leg vs. Second Leg Set List; Tunnel Records

1. I thought that the playing on the First Leg was very strong,
however I'd have to agree with the contingent that said the set list
was pretty mediocre. Maybe we were spoiled by the amazing variations
in the lists from the final shows of the '96 Tour in Japan. It does
seem quite a shame to squander all that energy (not an infinite
resource for a duo with a combined age over 100) on boring retreads
from the Brown Bomber....

2. ....With that in mind, does anyone have any ideas about what songs
they'll play on the next leg of the tour? Besides the obvious
overlooked items from the "never performed live" section of the
Zeppelin catalog, like For Your Life, In the Light (a wanking 45
second insert in the middle of HMMT doesn't count) and I'm Gonna
Crawl, there are many gems in their respective solo catalogs I'd love
to hear. I'm the first to make fun of Percy's solo parody parade, but
he especially has numbers in his past I'd love to see Page
reinterpret. Things like Burning Down One Side, Slow Dancer, Big
Log, and Ship of Fools would all be welcome additions. One thing is
certain though: either playing Zep rarities or solo gems coupled with
more cuts from WIC would do away with the notion that this was a mere
rehash reunion....

3. On a final note, I made the mistake of ordering a 2 disc set from
Tunnel Records in March. In June I decided I was tired of waiting and
asked to have the charge removed from my card. (As you might know,
they have a "charge first, ship latermaybe" policy) I've now spent
the last month fighting them over the refund. Does anyone have any
suggestions from prior experience on how to get my money back, or
should I just write it off....?

Thanks, Brian
