Re: Friday in Philly

Regarding Russ' post about Friday night in Philly and a few other items I
didn't mention:

	(1) Russ is correct that the sound wasn't the best with those big
monitors blaring at you, especially on the first three or four songs. We
in the upper level, extreme stage left.

	(2) I forgot all about the theramin screw up during WLL. Jimmy was great
Friday night, not perfect. But hey, gotta give him credit -- he produced a
killer solo in place of the theramin work out. Good recovery on his part.

	(3) Russ wasn't the only old fart at the show. I'm 32 and felt terribly
out of place around those balloon sucking teeny boppers in the parking lot.
Would've felt more comfortable if I'd had some non-liquid combustable
refreshments beforehand, but alas, I was travelling with a puritanical nerd
(and you know who you are!), and thus didn't have any. Seriously, it was a
fun atmosphere, I was just a little surprised at how young the crowd was at
the show. Very different from the Who shows I saw a couple years ago, where
the crowd was much older.

	(4) Sorry the Albany show didn't get the second encore. Clap louder next
time!! It'll be interesting to see what they do in Boston and NYC this week.

	(5) Speaking of the Albany show, the Lilith Fair is in Albany today
(Sunday the 12th of July). Page tried to get into the hotel to say hi to
the gals, but they turned him away because his breasts are bigger than
Sarah MacLachlan's. Catty, catty. Meow.

	(6) Had an all around good time this weekend. Philly show kicked and we
got two encores. Don't get no better than that.

	Every good wish--Tom Farrell
