I saw a small part of it. There was a buttload of people singing and
playing with
Roger in Central Park in New York. I saw them do "Ruby Tuesday". However,
some black guy (I'm sure he's probably well known but I hate that kind of
music and
didn't recognize him) was singing and Roger was standing with the choir.
They had
watered down the music considerably to sound like a pop/ballad - much like
something
Shitney Houston or Celine Douchbag would do. It was a very bleak moment for
rock and quite
horrible. I felt so bad for Roger becuause they were obviously mangling this
wonderful rock classic. It really pissed me off. In fact, Roger looked pretty
embarrassed for himself. I am glad to hear that he loves L/Z and respects
Robert. That makes me feel a little better about today's smack in the face of
Rock-n-Roll.
Blessed Be,
Julee
