Page guitar for bow, and tapered neck? intonation...

Hey folks

I am no guitar hardware specialist
but what if Jimmy's bowed guitar has the intonation set such that the action
is lowest on the 1st and 6th string and slightly higher progressively on the
2nd and 5th, 3rd and 4th strings. COuldn't he also have the nut on the neck
modified so that the spacing between strings is wider on the outer strings,
so the middle four are grouped closer together.  The Les Paul guitar he bows
with is used sparingly during the show, and could be hard to do full 6
string strum patterns if modified as I suggest here
