Hey, Zep will never play again, so anything like that is welcome!
I have plans to DAT the Washington DC show

I think security is a function of the venue itself, and not page/plant.
I've never been to a concert that had metal detectors, but then again,
I've never been to a concert in Washington DC. I would say put the mikes
in your socks. I don't know how big the PCM-M1 is, but I would say put it
in your pants, in front. Then wear a fanny pack over your front,
containing your wallet, etc. The fanny pack will hide the bulge. I've
successfully used this method several times to use a borrowed Sony DAT
deck (I recorded Clapton in April '98 and Jonny Lang in March '98).
If you are interested in trades, I have access to basically anything ever
booted of Zep, all in low generations. Let me know how your recording
comes out!
take care
