Re: The Led Zeppelin Mailing List Digest V1 #181

Greetings fellow LedHeads. I just subscribed to this mailing list so
first i would like to say hello. Here's my zeppelin story

a couple of years ago i was listening to all kinds of stuff, mostly from
the 60's- y'know doors, hendrix,janis? i guess its a right of passage.
anyways then i met my boyfriend of two and a half years. he's a guitar
buff, so of course he's got zep 1,2,3,4. Frankly i had never heard
zeppelin before, but i started listening to his albums. Then one day i
was looking in the closet and i discovered "Page and Plant-Unledded" the
video i guess they should on mtv or whatever. that was when i really
fell in love with zeppelin.
There are no words to describe how i feel about the greatest band ever
to grace the planet. Sometimes i'll be listening in the car and i just
want to cry. No band in history could have made the impact that these
four gods did.
anyways, for a long time i was really pissed because i missed the no
quarter tour by like a year. then when i found out that page and plant
were touring again i was so ecstatic that i ran around the apartment
just screaming. However i was a bit leary after hearing the new album-
what does everyone else think? I thought it was pretty mediocre. So on
June 22 i went to the jacksonville show after a long grueling week of AP
exams. I sat in the second row right in front of Robert.
I don't think i have ever felt that kind of exhilaration before.
Robert Plant is the love of my life, however this could pose a problem,
for i am only 16.
i guess i shouldn't take up any more room on yo8ur computers- but
anyways i love led zeppelin more than any other bandin the universe, and
i am glad to be able to share in your magic.

Love,
SaRa

P.S. i dont suppose anyone happened to have gone to the jacksonville
show and has pictures, i would sell my soul for them

P.P.S. has anyone heard the page/plant import "the story so far...."
it has performances from the rockn'roll hall of fame inductions and some
tracks featuring neil young, joe perry, steven tyler, jason bonham, and
jpj. I just wanna know if it's good
