Hey Drew,

Echoplexes (Maestro, or otherwise) are getting rather difficult to come by,
and therefore kind of expensive.  They are a tape loop delay device, no longer
made, and most will require some work from your local amp/tape recorder tech
in order to be stage worthy.  In any case, if you can't find one in your local
used guitar store/pawn shop, check for a guitar show (swap meet w/gtrs., etc)
in your area.  If that's a no go, check out Vintage Guitar Magazine.  It is
published monthly and FULL of ads from dealers and indiviuals who buy, sell
and trade this kind of stuff.  If you have questions, e-mail me directly and

Also, a similar, but updated and more flexible device, (but also not made any
more) is the Roland Space Echo.  These are equally worth checking out and can
sometimes be had for less dough.
