Establishing Harmony (Some Zep Content)

I downloaded a flaming post directed towards me a couple of days ago. Ill
expressed
hatred and anger as a result of disbelief and envy were its subject. My email
application has been malfunctioning intermittently for over two months and
yesterday
I replaced it. I received an email about the flame from Theolyn, who was
kind enough
to track the post. She found the individual had used a Juno account and
then abandoned it.
Thanks, Theo!
I am re-printing most of the post with a point for point reply.
It would be a disservice to all of us on this list and to Jimmy Page and
Robert Plant to
let the cruel and unfounded hate of the "Bob Martin" post remain without a
reasonable
reprisal. The post reveals the poster as in need of some lightheartedness and
spiritual enlightenment. May the beauty of the truth stand in the matter.

Hey big pink whore ...
- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
The signature about Miss Pamela is intended as a joke only, never a boast,
for those who
know me. Let's set it straight who I am for the record, as a member of For
Badgeholders Only. For those of you who don't know me:
I have been an ardent fan of Led Zeppelin's music since 1969. Several years
ago
a fellow astrologer friend gleefully laughed when he showed me Miss
Pamela's book. I had
no idea I had been included in this woman's journals. When I was introduced
to her at
the ELP "Brain Salad Surgery" tour at MSG, I declined to say more than I
was from the
Midwest. She asked what did I do, I didn't tell her, so she decided I was a
"groupie"
What did I do?
I danced at rock concerts for the sheer joy of celebrating. Doing that
became a
form of religious worship for me for a number of years. That worship was
inspired
by my first attendance at a Led Zeppelin concert in April of 70. I became
a spiritual consultant for members of a number of rock and roll bands. I
photographed
them, helped with sound levels and mixing for PA systems and lighting for
various concerts.
My reward was the prize of dancing as a form of worship without
interference at the concerts.
This was all done with the best of intentions among those involved in
friendship.
Names you can call me-a marriage partner and a loving mother, fine artist,
graphic designer, photographer, a performance artist, singer, dancer, art
historian
of sacred sites, an astrologer, a teacher, a minister.
The signature quote from Robert Plant originates from an article in the
Hipgnosis book about the artwork for Presence. Rather than explain it to
you I would
echo his sentiment. There's a joke on both Mr. Plant and myself
with that quote. I owe no one an explanation, suffice to say there's a direct
connection, but so what?
Perhaps my sense of humor was too dry for the individual who took offense
at my innocent fun. Look at the illustration with the lady in the field of
flowers
from the Presence album cover for some relief. Very good joke!

For those who don't know - signatures are simply information included below
a member's name, (five lines or less for this list). Repeating a signature or
not is generally at the member's discretion.

Mr. Page and I were acquainted with each other back in the seventies.
That's a simple fact, nothing more. I'm just a fan, who's appreciated
listening to
Jimmy Page's guitar playing since I was a teenager, keen on hearing every song
that Page played on.

Shar: "Jimmy, I'm still waiting.""
- -----------------------------------------------------------------
This statement from Richard Cole came from a long distance telephone
conversation I had with him over twenty years ago.
The reference to my reply that I'm still waiting is a well known joke to
people who know what's going on. It's a shame that the author of the post
was unaware of the truth or the humorous content intended, it was
certainly not a meant as a boast either.

Maybe you can go fuck Pamela instead she's the only one who cares your

The conclusion that is reached in the post about the purpose of the
signature is beyond the ridiculous. My interest in Jimmy Page centers
solely around enjoying listening to his musical artistry, and gaining
inspiration
from his studies in spiritual matters. I am as he is - "a seeker of the
truth."
Whatever happened between Mr. Page and myself dealt with the spiritual and
artistic side
of life. So I am at a total loss to understand the poster's conclusion
about my reasons
for that signature. It doesn't compute.
The post also suggests activity between Miss Pamela and myself
that goes entirely against my moral code of conduct. I'm the get married,
have and raise children, stay married, The wedding ceremony I wrote for my
wedding was
informally adopted by the Presbyterian Church as an alternative marriage
ritual.
My wedding vow did not say, "til death do us part."and I've been with my
husband
since 1978, when we met in Chicago on a college field trip to tour the
Tutankhamen
artifact exhibit at the Field Museum. How time flies when you love someone!
Surprised? GREAT! I'm happy to disappoint those hoping for bottom feeder
vulgarity
in the matter. My signature that was in question was meant to bring a smile
to the lips of
those most interested in "bringing the balance back", another little
inside joke. What did Robert Plant say - "if they can't take a joke?"
Now back to our regularly scheduled fun.
Some things are higher than even we can imagine!(Giggle)
Sincerely,
Shar The Pink Lady
