reluctant list members (NZC)

I am sending this message to both mailing lists because two people begging
to be unsubscribed from "this list" have replied not to messages on the
Stanford list, but to messages on the Eskimo list. So it appears that part
of the problem is that people are trying to unsub from the wrong list.

If you are trying to unsubscribe, please note that there are two lists. If
the mail you do not want to receive comes from Stanford.edu, please use
these instructions:

To remove yourself from this mailing list, send mail to

         Majordomo@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

with the following command in the body of your email message:

        unsubscribe zeppelin-l
or

        unsubscribe zeppelin-l-digest

If the mail you do not want to receive comes from eskimo.com, please use
these instructions:

Send an empty e-mail with Unsubscribe as the subject to

ledzep-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx

or

ledzep-digest-request@xxxxxxxxxx

If you receive an error message from the server saying you cannot be
unsubscribed because you are not subscribed, but you continue to receive
mail from the list anyway, please do two things to help us find out why so
many people who do not want to be here have recently found themselves
subscribed to one or the other of these lists:

1. On the latest message you have from the list you are trying to get off,
please _expand the headers_, SNIP ANY LONG DIGEST, and forward those headers
to ledzep-list@xxxxxxxxxxx Somebody's e-mail system will eventually reveal
enough in the headers that we will be able to trace whether somebody is
forging e-mail addresses in order to subscribe unsuspecting people to one or
the other list--and if that is happening, one of our experts may be able to
ferret out who is doing it.

2. After you have made certain that your attempts to unsubscribe have gone
to the right address, please forward the error message to
ledzep-list@xxxxxxxxxxx

Thank you for helping us to resolve these problems and end the annoyances to
both you and our listmembers. Jean
