LA 22.06.77 & Offenbach'73

Dear fellow zepheads,

I find the recent discussion regarding the different sources from 21.06.77
and 22.06.77 quite interesting. The big issue seems to be version of TYG on
the CD-set "Power & Glory" but I don't have any further information on that
one.

Nevertheless, in my collection I have an 120 minute audiencerecording from
22.06.77. The quality is excellent, my copy is 3rd generation, and the
similarities in sound makes me believe that is was recorded by the same
"handicaped" people with a wheelchair that did the 21, 23, 25 and 27th. The
recording starts with BoE and yes indeed, OtHaFA was played in beteween Moby
Dick and Guitar Solo->ALS. Maybe the tapers were late this evening, the
onslaught the night before may have put them in a temporary trauma! Or,
horror, the first part of the concert may have been erased, is hoarded, was
run over by the wheelchair or is still located in a deep crack under the
taper's seat at the Forum. Who Knows?!

I'm just wondering if anyone has some more information on the different
sources from this concert. Rey doesn't mention my alternative source, that's
for sure, and he forgot OtHaFA in the setlist.

Also, does anyone know if the LA'77 concerts are in circulation on DAT
(Master -> DAT ->DAT-clones). For example, I believe a few classic concerts
such as 27.03.75, 21.03.75, 12.02.75 and 24.04.69 have been copied to DAT
from the mastertapes.

One last thing, someone asked if there are two different sources from
Offenbach 24.03.73 and the answer is yes. One has the "three dimensional
sound" (Rey quote) and was used for both the 3LP and the two CD versions;
"Sweet At Night" (TDOLZ) & "Custard Pie" (Cobra). The vinylversion is
without doubt the best one in terms of soundquality, although the tapes in
circulation are even better (at least my tape). The other source hasn't got
that three dimensinal sound but is very good nevertheless. The quality is
similar to the complete and clear tape from Vienna 16.03.73.
