<Unfortunately, sound can be a little iffy at some of the amphitheaters.>
[bit of info. before reading message, the coliseum was torn down, and
replaced by a facility downtown called Gund Arena, both created for the
Cleveland Cavaliers basketball team.]
I think there's also a problem with indoor events. I live in Ohio, so
naturally, I would attend events at Gund Arena, and before the Coliseum
[Cleveland]. The Coliseum had great sound [didn't see any bands, but did
see performances of tribute bands, but I attended my first actual real
name band concert [AC/DC] last year at Gund Arena. Everything echos in
there horendously, and I hated it. I also attended the concert down in
Columbus at the Polaris Amphitheatre, and I thought it was much better.
I think it had a lot to do with the design of the facility, and believe
it or not, the seats were padded in the coliseum, and not in Gund
Arena...
[A couple years ago, I had gotten into this who AC/DC, Alice Cooper,
Metallica binge, but that was before I discovered classic rock...]
