6 hrs of Page related tunes

Badgeholders,

Been away from the terminal all week long. Seems Im up for a promotion and
a transfer to a new radio station in Eastern Washington that our company
just purchased (classic rock format of course) so Ive been squaring away all
the lingering trades I had left (guys all the tapes are in the mail, you may
have them by now) and arranging for the move. Im pretty excited, this
station has twice the range as the current one Im at. Yesterday I had the
most amazing show of my ten year radio career and it was a bitch to get the
okay to pull off. Six full hours of Jimmy Page related material for his
birthday. We even had local businesses sponsoring the show. I managed to
slip in 10 "live performances" from various sources that many of you have
contributed to before I almost got fired for it. I got the long lecture of
how much shit I could get the station into but it was worth it to have about
80 phone calls in six hours with people wondering if a new live Zep album
had been released! Kashmir rom 8/11/79, Bring It On Home from 9/4/70, As
Long As I Have You from 4/27/69 (actually had 4 people think this was a new
single from the upcoming album-if only Robert could sound like that now!!)
with many others. Closed the show out with Jimmy's instrumental performance
of Stairway from the A.R.M.S. concert. What a response we got, advertisers
were pleased listeners were pleased, I was thrilled, now I have ammo for a
Zeppelin special every week to take to the new station!! Anyway, I need to
get to reading about 180 e-mails from the digest.

Happy birthday Jimmy, a day late, but not on the airwaves!!

Ooh my head
Rock on
