Scream 2 and John Paul Jones?

I saw Scream 2 today and in the credits under the heading of Processing
Master (or something that sounded like that) I saw the name John Paul
"J.P." Jones.  Maybe it was just a coincidence but does anyone know if he
was involved in the movie?   Just checking!
