Oh, no, no, no, man. Give me the studio version of "Achilles," and then
give me some more! Even though "Achilles" truly is a motherf*&^$r
played live, the studio version has got to be the musical equivalent of
Shaft. It's one Baaad Motha - (shut my mouth)! (Anyone think Isaac
Hayes knew Zeppelin?)

Anyway, if you think "Layla" and "Achilles" have too many overdubs, try
listening to Radiohead, which I have happily been doing in all my free
(and not so free) time lately. In the recent Guitar World, Dave Grohl
describes Radiohead music very aptly as sounding what it must feel like
to have your whole life flash before your eyes.

Trippy.
