I agree 100% with this. I also "see" Jimmy in other performers as well.
They might nick a "stance" from him or a certain move.

Nope, he sure does not! In fact, he's known for turning his back
to the audience for some of each Aerosmith show. I don't know if
the reason he chooses to face his amp is because he's having some sort
of trouble hearing himself or what. Some guitarists do it because the 
riffs/chords they are playing are so *easy* they don't want others who
are 
watching to know it :-).
