Page - Syracuse '88 Video Review

Hey,

Just got a great video: Jimmy Page live in Syracuse (November
4, 1988) from the Outrider tour. The camera angle is off to Jimmy's
right and you could see the band pretty clearly. Here is the set-list:

Who's to Blame, OTH&FA, Wanna Make Love, Writes of Winter,
Tear Down the Walls, Emerald Eyes, Midnight Moonlight,
In my Time of Dying (GREAT), City Sirens (Drum Solo),
	Someone to Love, Prison Blues,
The Chase (w/ Jimmy's Guitar Solo - Dazed & Confused),
Wasting my Time, Blues Anthem, Custard Pie (w/ Black Dog),

Train Kept A Rollin', StH (Instumental)

Things that caught my eye included the stage...they have a big
"JP" on the center of the floor from the Outrider album. There are also
LASERS which I found pretty funny or pretty 80s. They were going off
during Jimmy's guitar solo on Stairway and it gave a unique atmosphere
to the whole thing. Jean was right when she said that Jason thought
Jimmy needed a cheering section...he looked ridiculous. You could tell
that playing with Jimmy Page was his life long dream because he was
pretty pumped up through the whole thing. His drum hit is DW's and is
pretty big (a lot of drums and cymbals). I personally do not like his
sound compared to Lee's but he sounded pretty good. I think In My Time
of Dying is done REALLY well here. I really hope that Page/Plant does
that and Nobody's Fault But Mine. With Porl or another guitarist,
Jimmy's cleanier playing, Plant's better voice/harmonica, and most
importantly MICHEAL LEE, those two songs could REALLY rock.

Overall a great video...
