For Paul Rodgers fans only....(NZC)

Paul Rodgers is currently playing a one-week residency
at the legendary London jazz club Ronnie Scotts.  It's
billed as Paul Rodgers Sings the Blues and I was lucky
enough to catch him on Tuesday night (lucky because
it's a very small club and a lot of people want to see it!).  
Outstanding stuff, he mixed new material from the Now album with 
blues standard covers, and old Free and Bad Co.
numbers.  Probably as it is a very "intimate" setting, he changed the
setlist a bit from the set he toured in the UK earlier this year, most 
notably from the Bad Co. era, dropping Can't Get
Enough and putting in Shooting Star.  
I was too blown away by the brilliant performances of Rodgers and
his guitarist Geoff Whitehorn to note down the full setlist, but would recommend
that anyone in London tonight or tomorrow should get themselves
down to Soho pronto and catch the show!

PS: He's touring the UK again over the next couple of months but the
only other London appearance I know of will be at Wembley supporting 
Status Quo.
