Re: a thought W&T

hmmmmmmmm....... although i cant deny that w&t is in itself a good
enough song to stand on its own right, it must be kept in mind that Led
Zep was a band that often tried on musical styles to showw how easy they
were to eminate. Point in Note; Hot Dog,Boogie with Stu, and of course
Wearing and Tearing. All these songs in my opinion have enough aesthetic
merit to warrant existing for their own sake, but in the back of my mind
the fact that they never returned to these styles means something. Then
again ,this theory deteriorates when it is noted that they never returned
twice to a style EVER, the only slim possibilities being bron-y-aur/black
mountainside and SIBLY/Tea for One, but those songs are collossal enough
to warrant a second helping in anyone's book.
But is W&T really punk? It sounds more standard rave-up to me. Ryan
