 Yes well after I severely embarassed myself about the origin of the tune
to Gallows Pole I'm a bit loathe to try my hand at any more zeppelin
trivia (takk til Ragnar osv.) but I read this one thismorning in ritchie
Yorke's bio so I'm pretty confident of it.......here goes Jimmy Page
played rhythm on the Who's first single "Cant Explain" (great song), and
not only that but he gave them many canny production tips which Pete
Townshend was openly very grateful for. How about that? It makes a bit of
sense because the backbone of the song is very skiffly in parts. Ryan.
