Tingle Moment

I figured that I would add my tingle moment to the already large list. I
don't have anything else to do this Friday night, but at least I have
Zeppelin to keep me company. What more could I want? Anyway I have a
bootleg called "Studio Haze (not Daze) Vol 1" which has a track entitled
STH (instrumental takes) which has Jonesy, Page, and Bonzo working on STH
at Headley Grange and gives a date of Jan-Feb, 1971. It makes me *tingle*
to think of the guys sitting around working on STH and not even dreaming
about how incredibly successful this song would become.
Also, the next track is STH (vocal take) and the lyrics are different than
what we no know. For example, as best I can tell, the line that now says
"and it's whispered that soon, if we all call the tune, then the piper
will lead us to reason" was at the point of this recording "and it's
whispered that soon, if we call out the tune, then the piper will open the
reefer."
On another subject, I remember someone writing a couple of weeks ago about
a symphonic LZ disc coming out. I have a disc called symphonic rock "the
british invasion" which I bought at Wal-Mart. Included on this disc is
WLL and STH. Both, in my opinion are quite good and on WLL the London
Symphony Orchestra proves that they can rock. So, I too would
recommend buying a symphonic Zeppelin CD if anyone finds such a thing.
