Yes I would have to agree with you on this count, but maybe something on the
order of the Dead's Dick's Picks would be appropriate for the realese of
excellent audience tapes. And the tape of Eddie (6/21/77) is as good a
sounding live album as any legit realese in my collection.
And they do have a professional recording of the Royal Albert Hall 1/9/70
show which would be far more representative of the excitment and power of a
*real* live Zep performance. We know this exists from the I Can't Quit You
track of Coda.
This BBC realese is in no ways a true Zep live release so again the fans
will not get a representative show from the greatest live band ever.
They should take a cue from Deep Purple who by my last count have a dozen
legit live releases.
