Re: Tingling...

On Fri, 3 Oct 1997, Jeff wrote about his tingle moment #5:

I can see it that way too! W & T is among the last recorded studio tracks,
and it has certain chaotic punk feel in it - the boys are on the loose just
before the end...though nobody couldn't know the true end was near...

My favorite tingle moments (a few of many):

1. The last verse of Ten Years Gone. It's strong and very emotional. "Ten
years gone, holding on, ten years gone...I never, never, never gonna leave
you...uh-uh-yeah-yeah" and Jimmy's sound is just perfect there.

2. SIBLY, especially the part "SAID I've been cry-in'" when the music stops
and Robert is singing in a melancholy way "Oh my tears, they fell like rain".

3. JPJ starting the piano solo on No Quarter.

4. Robert's voice on Hey Hey What Can I Do, when he's moaning "I need to
tell her she's the only one I really love".

5. Whole Lotta Love - TSRTS-version. Although the song is edited, it has
very good elements of varying live performance: killer riffs, funky moments,
sensitive blues sections, humorous dialogues between Jimmy and Robert and
dramatic transitions (especially the last one, after the "LOOOOOOOOOVE"-part).
The whole song is the tingle moment!

6. Bron-Yr-Aur. Absolutely beautiful work from Jimmy...

And there are plenty of others. But now I want someone else will continue... :)
