Hey,
The definitive Led Zeppelin song would have to be one of the
following:
Achilles Last Stand - This song is unmatched by any band anywhere
in the world. The power of the drums, Robert's emotional and
powerful voice, and Jimmy's unmatchable ability to create such
a materpiece.
Kashmir - Even Robert believs that this is Led Zeppelin
Black Dog - Everytime I think of the band Led Zeppelin, a bunch of
25 year olds, in the 70s, smoking up, and groupies....you
have to think of Black Dog. The image of Robert Plant,
with mic in hand, sticking his chest out is what I visualize
when I hear this song
Rock and Roll - I think of all songs, this one gets me moving the
fastest...perhaps even more when I hear lives versions.
Led Zeppelin was a riffy band and this one has got it all...
Opinions,
dn
