I've just come from John Paul Jones' chat on AOL; most of the questions were
about Led Zeppelin, and there were quite a few interesting answers. He was
asked twice about being ignored by Jimmy and Robert; he said it was hurtful
in '95 and it's too late for them to ask now. He said Bonzo was the greatest
drummer of all times, all places and he wished he was here now to hear the
BBC Sessions.
The last question was one I had asked: his fondest memory of Led Zeppelin. He
said it was playing the Boston Tea Party for over 4 hours with 45 minutes
worth of material. 'That's improvising' he said.:)
There were a few stupid questions but he took it all in stride and he seems
to have a great sense of humour. He must've been typing the answers himself
because there were so many typos!
I only 'saw' one other person there from the list. Was anyone else there?
