..... when it becomes a coffee mat.
Greetings,
With the release of the BBC sessions , it seems ,(at least here in
Germany), the old boots of the sessions are going for a pittance.
Last week our local bookshop was selling "White Summer" (Oil Well) for
a mere 5 Dm (~$3) and at a record show I found "Thank you it's complete"
(Discurios) for 10 Dm (~$6).
This makes me wonder if dealers are trying to unload their stock of BBC
material before the new release catches on. These boots will become quite
useless , as Joe Public will soon know what the sessions are.
On another note , I did spy 2 copies of the TMQ vinyl "Going to California"
in good shape , but the dealers wanted over 100 Dm (~$60) for them.
Unfortunately one knew his stuff when it came to Zep , the other was told
it was rare and wouldn't haggle. Sigh !
Steve.
