Coverdale in Moscow !

Hello, Badgeholders!

I want to tell an interesting thing : maybe somebody of you knows
that David Coverdale is in tour to Moscow (i.e. in Russia) right now.
I live not in Moscow, but in St. Peterburg, so it's a problem to
visit Whitesnake's concert. But I'm not speaking about concert now.
Yesterday (on November, 14) Coverdale gave an one hour-interview to
the radio station that is very popular in the country : "Europe Plus".
Before this interview I told to myself : "If Coverdale would not say
a word about Jimmy Page, Led Zeppelin and other cool musicians and
cool bands which he knows as much as the members of the bands know,
I'll forget about him as a person or singer forever !" And what do you
think happened ? We listened to several rather dull Whitesnake's songs,
to two Deep Purple's songs : "Burn", "Stormbringer" (I like these ones
very much) and between songs the only person whom David mentioned was
Blackmore and the only band he mentioned was Deep Purple (and OF COURSE,
Whitesnake) ! Certainly, Deep Purple of Mk3.

No word about his album with Page ! No word about other groups !
What can I think about Coverdale after that ?

If you want to get more precise info on the interview, just ask me. I didn't
record it on recorder, but still remember it rather well.
