The Great Pointless Debate!!!

After reading Kenny's essay on the Carmilla affair, one wonders what this is
really all about. Like anyone else on the list, Jean's postings can be
viewed and subject to many interpretations.

One thing is certain, we need a way to end these flame wars. If you need to
be critical, flame the content of the statement and not the person. We need
to control ourselves first. The more that Jean is reminded of this post, I
am sure the more it may upset her. If we ignore the posts that are upsetting
to people and deal with it on a private level, I think things will be a lot
happier for everyone.
