I cannot delete Jean's posts since I get the list in digest mode. Any other
suggestions on not reading her posts? It's very difficult to avoid them in
the digest given how one asinine sentence or topic is easily picked up by
the eyes.
I must side with Camilla. Although I have no direct, personal dislike for
Jean, it is obvious that as a member of this group she revels in
self-absorption. That's the way it is. Remember, she was the one who once
posted on hearing a Led Zeppelin song in a convienience store. She's the
one that posted about days she wore her "Zoso/Feather" T-shirt and was
recognized by other Zeppelin fans.

It is difficult not to blame Jean. She's a teacher; it's her profession.
Unfortunatly, she feels that she must also "teach" this list. I wouldn't go
as far as saying it's condascending, but it is definitely annoying.

Jean brings up just about anything personal she can brew up and posts it.
It's only fair that Camilla, myself, or anyone else can do the same. If
Jean feels that she has to consistently and unnecesarily bring up personal
topics, then she opens herself up to public criticism like this. Everything
is public for Jean, so why not make this post public?

As far as taking aggression out on the list, maybe that's true, but at least
there is justified provocation. We are less guilty than those who over-use
this list as an alternative for socializing.

Fine, enjoy her posts. It is your opinion and you are surely entitled to
it. And Jean is entiteled to continue posting how she does. It's her
freedom. But know that others have burnt out on her posts long ago. What
once seemed like wisdom eventually showed itself to be endless meandering.
